Back in August, Makonnen shared the news that ILoveMakonnen 2, the much anticipated follow-up to his 2014 self-titled EP, would drop sometime this fall. After some delays, we now have an official release date for the project and it’s a lot closer than you think.
ILoveMakonnen 2 is slated to drop next week, November 20, and to coincide with the announcement, Makonnen also let loose a new single from the project. Produced by DJ Mustard, “Second Chance” finds Makonnen teetering in that familiar sing-songy cadence we’ve come to know him by, as he croons about trying to get a girl he lost back.
