Chase & Status Collaborate With the Best of the UK Underground on Their London Bars Series

With an album on the horizon for 2016, production duo and heavy DJs Chase & Status are reminding us what a big part of the UK scene they are with the London Bars project (buy here). For the series of tracks, Chase & Status are teaming up with some of the UK’s best MCs, starting with Frisco from BBK on “Funny” and following that with “More Ratatatin,” a lurching monster of a track with road rap bossman Giggs.

The London Bars videos follow on from each other, with “More Ratatatin” ending with Bonkaz coming onto a stage—look out for his entry in the coming days. Giggs also collaborated with masked mystery MC CAS for a remix of his darkly funny “What’s My Name.”

The so-called “MTV Traps” directors cut of the original video includes a long guest verse from Giggs, hopefully the first of more collabs between the two artists. “No women were hurt or impregnated during the making of this programme,” CAS promises. Find that video at the bottom of the page.
