ZHU has been bringing out the big guns in the lead up to his Genesis Series project, which is due to release tomorrow. Getting collaborations with the likes of AlunaGeorge and Gallant as well as EDM juggernauts like Skrillex, it’s pretty safe to say that ZHU has the right people on his side. His latest collaboration, though, might just be the coolest of his yet. Getting New Orleans brass outfit Trombone Shorty as well as hip-hop legends Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, “Hold Up, Wait a Minute” is a delightfully funky piece of genre fusion.
As with all the previous drops, ZHU is keen to showcase just what he’s capable of here. Expect more exciting collaborations and interesting sound fusions as the Genesis Series project continues. “Hold Up, Wait A Minute” is out tomorrow.
