Bryan Sammis spent 2014 finding himself, establishing who Olivver the Kid really is. The full picture of Olivver is finally coming into view, as layers peel away to reveal more and more of Bryan’s confidence as a solo artist. After toying with R&B that flirts with John Hughes-tinged nostalgia, Bryan is pushing Olivver into the spotlight with a full embrace of pop. As a product of everything he’s been working towards, Olivver’s newfound pop sheen is worthy of heavyweight status.

Taken from the second Olivver the Kid EP, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, “BBBlue” is perhaps the best showcase of Bryan’s songwriting talents yet. With its sleek and forlorn production, it’s a fantastic example of what Bryan is capable of. Complete with instantly memorable melodies and a hell of a hook, The Boy Who Cried Wolf is gearing up to be Bryan’s finest collection of work yet. When paired with recent single “World on Fire,” it’s evident that Bryan has lofty ambitions for Olivver.

Listen to “BBBlue” below, and pre-order The Boy Who Cried Wolf, which is due for release October 16, here.
