Two excellent British artists from different musical worlds collide with this Nao remix of Wolf Alice’s “Bros.”
We’ve been telling you about London rock four-piece Wolf Alice since 2012, and in June they released their debut album My Love Is Cool, which includes music from the past two years. One of their best songs to date is “Bros,” a beautiful ode to childhood friendship that was first released in 2013 and appears as track two on the album.
Nao is one of the best new artists of 2015, her soulful vocals and exciting collaborator choices (A.K. Paul, Mura Masa) put her at the forefront of futuristic pop music, and with this remix she proves that even out of her natural habitat she shines brightly. Adding her own vocals to those of Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell, Nao’s glorious new version of “Bros” is better than we would ever have imagined. Listen below.
