New Orleans native Pell has been ascending as a rapper to keep note of ever since he released his incredibly impressive album, Floating While Dreaming. Now he’s finally following up that album with LIMBO, which will include production from superstar producer and TV On The Radio member Dave Sitek among others. The first single from the album, “Café Du Monde,” features production from Sitek, and has Pell flaunting his unique cadence.
Its bouncy, synth-heavy production works wonders with Pell’s malleable voice as he seamlessly switches back and forth between rapping and singing. It has us excited to see what will come from his new album, with a bigger budget behind him. LIMBO will be released November 6 via Federal Prism Records.
