It’s hard to categorize MeLo-X or explain what he does to those that may be unfamiliar with him, frankly because simply saying he does a lot seems like an understatement. The rapper/producer/DJ/all around artist displays just a fraction of his array of talents on his latest track “FFFS.” This time he teams up with another one of our favorites, Little Simz.
“FFFS” is taken from MeLo-X’s upcoming EP Curate which is expected to be released in the coming weeks. As usual, as soon as Little Simz begins her verse it feels necessary to give her your undivided attention, in order to not miss a single word. Each of her words seem to glide almost effortlessly over Melo’s beat.
MeLo-X follows Simz with an equally enticing verse that fits right into the subtle groove of the track. The production gives off an intergalactic sound that feels appropriate considering the hook repeats the line, “Free falling from space.”
