Banksy’s absurdist UK theme park Dismaland is celebrating its final weekend of operation, and performances from Run The Jewels, Pussy Riot, Blur, and others marked the end of last night’s festivities. Massive Attack was scheduled as a headliner, but when they were unable to perform, De La Soul stepped in and didn’t disappoint, bringing Damon Albarn on stage to perform Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.”
The song originally appeared on Gorillaz’s 2005 album Demon Days, and for last night’s performance, Albarn decided to dress like, in perhaps an ironic part on Dismaland’s corporate parodying, McDonald’s new reboot of the Hamburglar. The mask was also more likely because attendees of last night’s festivities were asked to wear masks so Banksy himself could be there anonymously.
