We just recently named Connie Constance as one of favorite new artists, and her latest video “Stars” is further proof why. When we were first introduced to Connie, we learned that the 20-year-old singer is also a professional dancer. In this new video, she combines two of her passions.
As the visuals for “Stars” begins, things seems fairly normal as Connie Constance hangs out with friends and roams various parts of town. Soon, the imagery begins to get much more imaginative as she begins to dance and get lost in her own world. Connie explained the concept of the video to i-D saying that she, “wanted to create a safety net that allows escapism to a world that is totally accepting of you as you are and washes away all troubles and problems that are alive in reality…even if just for a moment.”
