Although details are scant, The xx have once more confirmed their third album is underway. The group posted an update on Facebook with a glittery, seemingly handwritten note to supporters. It states as follows:
We are working hard on our third album! Can’t wait to share it with you.

Last October, in an interview with The FADER, Jamie xx noted his excitement for what had arisen from then-recent sessions with his band-members. Little word of a release had followed his hints until now. Take a look at the above image and stay tuned for more news regarding the anticipated project.
