Earlier this afternoon, Alessia Cara premiered two new tracks, “Seventeen” and “Outlaws,” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. This serves as a pretty special treat to her rapidly growing fanbase since her debut EP Four Pink Walls is only days away from being finally released.
Both tracks veer from the sound she has already become loved for with her hit debut single “Here.” After delivering what many are referring to as the introvert’s anthem, she now delivers another fun anthem about simply enjoying her youth and the present time on “Seventeen.” While “Outlaws,” on the other hand, layers lyrics of teen rebellion over a classic, soulful rhythm.
With just three tracks out, Alessia Cara is showcasing just how much talent she has hidden up those sleeves of hers. Listen to “Seventeen” and “Outlaws” beneath that.
