Mick Jenkins surprised in August of last year with his impressively polished mixtape, The Water[s]. Now he’s back to follow-up the project, with the similarly titled Wave[s] EP. Due out next week, the EP is now streaming via NPR, and features production from Kaytranada, Stefan Ponce, and a few others. Like his last project, there’s a strong emphasis on water and forward-thinking production as well as lyricism. Listen below, or here.
