Tove Styrke, skillful maker of tasteful pop, seemingly admires a certain music icon of the ’90s and early ’00s. Just shy of three weeks since the release of her positivity-trumpeting “Number One” video, in which she sings the line “Your tears don’t shake my world like Britney Spears,” the singer returns with a visual cover of “…Baby One More Time.”

The simple video focuses almost solely on the artist, who dons a white-striped tracksuit jacket as she tries her hand at the massive 1999 hit. If you’re reading this website, chances are you spend some time each week with headphones in, on, or over your ears.
