Earlier this month, Brooklyn rapper DonMonique impressed a packed crowd at the fifth installment of our No Ceilings concert series. Now she returns with her debut EP Thirst Trap. DonMonique admitted that her EP got that title because her style is “trap music that’s cute and sexy.”
The cover art will surely grab everyone’s attention immediately, but the eight-track EP is full of tracks that will hold the audience’s full focus. All throughout, the production of each track on her debut effort finds a way to match her cool and relaxed flow. Thirst Trap also features artists such as fellow New York native Remy Banks, as well as Danny Brown, Wara from the NBHD and more.
