For his latest track “Chariots,” Oakland-based producer KRNE carries listeners on a roller coaster of sounds. The track initially opens up slowly, allowing for the beat to build but even with the steady build up, the burst of sound that comes in after a minute still feels a sonic wave unexpectedly crashing down.
In just under four minutes, KRNE is able to take listeners on multiple loops, dips and twists. “Chariots” is full of energy from start to finish and shows that KRNE has so many tricks up his sleeve that he could barely manage to fit it all into one short track.
