Ever since his feature on Kanye West’s huge “All Day,” Allan Kingdom hasn’t exactly been in a rush to capitalize on the sudden influx of listeners. Patience is a virtue, though, as today we’ve been given yet another fantastic track from the Peanut Butter Prince. The self-produced “Take It” features Kingdom’s signature wonky vocals and frantically rapped verses, offering yet another interesting glimpse at one of the most exciting hip-hop artists working today.

The twinkly, borderline whimsical production suits Kingdom’s one-of-a-kind cadence, showcasing just what it is that makes him so goddamn unique. The minimalistic, booming track might not be as intense as “Keep it Easy” or “Blast,” but it’s just as captivating. Allan Kingdom plays the next No Ceilings show August 26 in Brooklyn alongside London O’Connor, Brockhampton’s Kevin Abstract, and Well$.
