The best part of music festivals, the reason you endure the $15 beer and teens in flower crowns, is the spontaneous, one-off appearances. Yesterday at Governors Ball, Chromeo gave the crowd their money’s worth with a surprise performance of Vampire Weekend‘s 2008 (!) hit “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa” featuring none other than the band’s frontman Ezra Koenig.

“Hey man…Dave, I showed you the riff, man. It’s really not that hard,” Koenig said to the Chromeo’s Dave 1. Watch them perform the song into Chromeo’s “Bonafide Lovin” above.
