Earlier this year, Snoh Aalegra put out an impressive track produced by RZA. The original version of her single “Emotional” is an R&B track with a soulful influence backed by an abundance of horns.
Now a remix from DJ Dahi features a beat more suited for an R&B song. The additional bounce and emphasis on the bass help give the track the extra attitude it needed. DJ Dahi’s remix transforms the song into something new, making the remix and the original sound like two completely different songs. And if the new beat wasn’t enough, the extra verse added by Vince Staples tops it all off.
The remix comes with a somewhat new video as well. Clips from Snoh’s “Emotional” video were reversed and looped for the video which you can watch above.
