Following the first screening at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, the official trailer for Amy—the documentary about the late Amy Winehouse’s life—has now been revealed. Previously we had only seen short clips from the film, and heard how her own family feels about how the documentary turned out. However, the day for all of us to make our own opinions on the film is rapidly approaching.
This new full trailer for Amy shows a montage of candid footage from early on in Amy’s career as well as big moments and performances shortly before her untimely death. Just from the trailer, this Asif Kapadia-directed documentary looks as if it could be a roller coaster of emotions for viewers.
