Video: Dylan Brady ft. Nok from the Future & Night Lovell - "Let Go / Enemies"

Dylan Brady doesn’t seem all that interested in repeating himself, especially if his latest video is anything to go by. Following the wildly inventive visuals for “Gold Teeth” and “Little Bando,” the video for “Let Go / Enemies” feels decidedly stripped back. Less surreal but equally as difficult to understand, the tactile video was self-directed and edited by Dylan. Offering yet another glimpse into his unique artistic vision, the video makes sure to point out just how far from one-note he really is.

However, it’s the track that’s the real draw here. Featuring P&P favorites Night Lovell and Nok from the Future, the track malforms over its running time from a thudding love song into a galloping statement of purpose. It’s far removed from the instrumental hook of “Gold Teeth” or the vibrant glossiness of “Little Bando,” but it’s no less captivating. No one is blending hip-hop with wierdo pop quite as well as Dylan Brady is.

“Let Go / Enemies” is taken from the forthcoming album All I Ever Wanted, which is due for release May 1. The album is set to include features from Kevin Abstract, Ravenna Golden, and Robel Ketema among others.
