With his forthcoming mixtape .Wav Theory dropping next week—April 28 to be exact—Towkio has returned with another single to spark your interest. Just like his first single “Involved,” his latest single “Reflection” is also produced by Kaytranada.
“Reflection” begins quite subtly but with a hint that there’s more to come. As the beat opens up, the entire song begins to liven up. Towkio and Kaytranada appear to be a good musical match. Towkio’s melodic flow fits perfectly with the ups and downs of the groove in Kaytranada’s production. Both elements put together don’t even overpower one another, in fact they each help to heighten the sound of the other.
