For mysterious production duo The Stray Doggz’ debut single “Skank Out,” Stormzy connects with Wretch 32 over a tough beat. The two MCs go back and forth with quick verses, as Wretch reminds us he can go in with straight bars as easily as he can jump on a pop tune.
Talking about this collaboration, The Stray Doggz told us, “We were blessed enough to get two of the biggest artists in the UK on a tune together. Wretch 32 and Stormzy are artists that we both respect highly and to get them on our debut single, is an honour. To see them both working together was truly inspiring, and we knew we had made something special.”
Wretch 32 said, “The Stray Doggz reached out and played me a few of their records. This is the one I wanted to off-load on. Sometimes you’ve gotta let the dogs off the lead.”
