As the Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck gets closer to its theatrical release and eventual airing on HBO on May 4, we’re learning more and more about the movie. As well as intimate home footage, it includes unheard music, including a 12-minute long acoustic Kurt Cobain song and an unreleased cover of The Beatles.
Now, that cover, which is of the fantastic love song “And I Love Her,” has surfaced, and although the quality is low, there is still a raw, real power that shines through. Check out the cover and remind yourself of the original below.
