Last month, Holt announced that he was the newest signee of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music and followed up the big news with his cover of Kavinksy’s “Nightcall.” The track gave us a proper introduction to Holt and a preview of what we could expect to hear on his forthcoming album. Now he’s teamed up with King Louie for the remix.
The “Nightcall” remix features a verse by King Louie that matches the dark tone in the opening of the beat. But halfway through, both Louie’s delivery and the beat open up and pull you in. This version is a bit bouncier than the original and sadly much shorter.
