When Rustie takes the time to produce a remix, he goes all in. “Hit Da Blokk” comes courtesy of Big Dope P, the French producer responsible for some of the bassiest beats known to man. Most recently, he teamed up with Heka Trax for the Hit Da Blokk EP.
The EP includes a number of remixes, with Rustie’s appearing smack dab in the middle. It’s an explosion of kickdrum and cymbal rolls, with Heka Trax’s raps looped and pitched to create a relentless firestorm of sound. Stream below.
