Grime legend Skepta is set to have his biggest year yet, even if his upcoming album, Konnichiwa, looks like it’ll be missing its originally intended release date today. Seemingly to make up for the lack of news on Konnichiwa‘s impending release, Skepta has dropped a new track co-produced by himself and Ragz Originale. “SHUTDOWN” features Skepta spitting over a deceivingly simple but fierce bass-heavy instrumental, proving once again why he deserves to be as big in the states as he is in the UK. And yes, that is a sample of Drake at the beginning and end.
