Ciaran Lavery is a young folk singer from Aghagallon, Ireland, and for “The Color Blue” he collaborated with electronic producer Ryan Vail, after the two talked online and eventually met face to face at a festival. Lavery’s fragile vocals and the gentle guitar are ever-so-subtly complemented by faint whisps of sound that float alongside, never intruding, but helping sustain the atmosphere perfectly.
