During producer Jon Hopkins’ latest show on his BBC Radio 1 residency, he played a track from Jamie xx called “Alba” which is part of the soundtrack to a silent film by Sofia Mattioli and Rebecca Salvadori. “Alba” comes in around the 58 minute mark of Hopkins’ set here.
The Continuum silent film, which is soundtracked by exclusive music from Jamie xx, Four Tet, Koreless, and John Talabot is below. The music, including “Alba,” will be released as an exclusive Record Store Day 7″ + DVD, available April 18th.
