Grimes is Auctioning Off Art to Support Environmental Reporting

None

This week, pieces of artwork by Grimes were put up on eBay for auction. Unlike many other situations, this is not being done by some fan trying to make extra money. Grimes herself is actually auctioning off her own artwork, but for a good cause.

According to her Facebook page, Grimes’ artwork will be auctioned off to support the environmental reporting of new online publication The National Observer. The publication will be reporting on Canada’s environmental issues.

The artwork up for auction are the original paintings she created for her single “Go” as well as “Entropy,” her collaboration with Bleachers. The current bid for both pieces are already well passed $1,000 and there are still four days left to bid.

You can bid on one of six copies of the “Entropy” artwork here and the framed “Go” artwork here.
