The idea behind the adidas originals Songs From Scratch series is simple: bring great artists into the studio together. It’s inspired some really great songs from artists like Tink, Chance The Rapper, Joey Bada$$, and Chet Faker, as they work with some of the best producers in the biz on one-off tracks. The latest release from the project is “Dímelo,” a bouncy hip-hop tune courtesy of UK producers Snakehips and Toronto rapper Tory Lanez.
By their own admission, the song is a little out of character for Snakehips—but apparently they “make lots of stuff like this,” as James Carter put it in the press release. “We just don’t put it out.”
