Eric Dingus really likes to show off his versatility as a producer, continually coming in from the left field with an ever evolving sound. From his more aggressive work with Dowrong to his post-rock indebted solo work, his ear for melody and massive textures really sets him apart. Taken from his upcoming EP, which is due for release in the near future, “Night Gallery” takes a quieter, more atmospheric approach. At least, that’s how it starts, with the forlorn feeling switching out for a more menacing trudge around the four minute mark.

It’s another strong showing of his impressive production techniques, proving that he doesn’t always need a rapper for his output to stand out. Expect to hear more from Dingus over the coming months as he readies the release of his next EP.
