Chance The Rapper, Donnie Trumpet and the rest of The Social Experiment crew have been hard at work on their forthcoming album Surf for some time now. Slowly but surely, they have been giving us a glimpse of what the whole project will sound like once it’s completed. The latest preview comes from Donnie alongside a short video featuring model Cara Delevingne.
The track, titled “Nothing Came to Me” is only an instrumental piece but Delevingne helps to bring the emotion to life in the short clip. The model portrays an actress trying to compose herself enough to take the stage right after receiving terrible news. Delevingne was able to perfectly capture the emotions of each note being played on the trumpet with just a few subtle facial expressions. But as soon as the video grabs your full attention, it comes to an abrupt end and has you wanting more.
