Chicago duo IDYLL haven’t released a lot of music so far, but from what little we have heard, it’s clear that there’s a lot of promise there. Combining silky production with slyly nocturnal vocals, Angelina Lucero and Jojo Yang make for a poignant pairing. This was first showcased with their debut track, “Trouble,” and it’s even more evident with “Bad Boi.” Despite only being their second track, their sound is remarkably defined here. The production skitters along elegantly, and the vocals match its finesse with impressive accuracy.
