Shortly after headlining a sold out show at New York City’s Rough Trade last night, Freddie Gibbs and two members of his crew were shot at multiple times by a lone gunman while Gibbs sat parked in a black SUV at North 9th Street near Wythe Avenue in Brooklyn.

Though Gibbs left the scene unscathed, his DJ reportedly suffered a minor leg wound and another victim was hit in the hand, according to the NY Post. Gibbs, who ran back into Rough Trade for cover, told the Post, “They tried to kill Tupac. They tried to kill me. I’m still alive.”

He then went on to post a photo to Instagram around 5 AM with a caption reading, “Yep. Still Livin. Thanks NY.” Check that out below, and stay tuned; we’ll keep you updated as more details emerge.
