No one has showcased their ability to be versatile more this year than Rome Fortune. Regardless of the producer or tempo of the beat, Rome can handle it with perfection. This time he teamed up with TM88 to create “Nasty” for Ryan Hemsworth’s secret songs series.
In the Soundcloud description, Rome Fortune describes the song by saying he wanted to “bring a southern Caribbean vibe if there ever were such a thing.” Those aren’t sounds many would choose to try to fuse together, but in this case it seems to work out. The slow motion of the beat is just right to fit the relaxed lifestyles of both the South as well as the Caribbean. But the track also comes off as the perfect song for the end of the night. “Nasty” proves to be just as versatile as Rome Fortune himself.
