In the few months that we’ve come to know TALA, she’s continue to impress us with her vocals as well as her production. And she’s definitely proving her versatility with her latest track “Everybody’s Free.” TALA reworked a cover of “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)” by Quindon Tarver which was on the 1996 Romeo + Juliet soundtrack.
The original song’s structure is not very complex, with just the voices from the choir performing an acapella rendition. But TALA’s version adds a heavier production that brings more energy into what was once just a simple ballad. The building beat in addition to the layered vocals and extended instrumental breakdown make for a song that truly fits the original title.
