The first collaboration between Travi$ Scott and The 1975, “Don’t Play,” which also featured Big Sean, came as a surprise when it dropped on Soundcloud around three months ago, and although this second collaboration is a little less surprising, it’s always great to see rising artists from different worlds working together.
“Drive”originally appeared on Travi$ Scott’s 2013 debut mixtape Owl Pharaoh (listen here), and Manchester band The 1975 keep a similar smooth feel to the original, using some of James Fauntelroy’s vocals but introducing their own sleek production and adding a new verse to the second half of the song.
