Just this morning Ryan Hemsworth dropped the emotional first single from his upcoming album, “Snow In Newark,” featuring vocals from Dawn Golden. Now, only a few hours later, he’s dropped the first Secret Songs compilation, ten tracks for free download from artists he loves. The vibe here is a mix of bright electronic production and catchy hooks, all tied together with a sense of fun, freedom, and never taking oneself too seriously. Or, as Hemsworth himself put it, “all the songs follow the color theme (#ffb6c1, or light pink) in one way or another.”
