“#CAKE” may be one of the most immediately accessible tracks on Shabazz Palaces’ sprawling, ambitious new album Lese Majesty, but that hasn’t stopped it from getting an eerie and menacing visual. The video was directed by Hiro Murai, who recently gave us Chet Faker’s “Gold” and Spoon’s “Do You” videos, and mixes striking supernatural imagery with one man running away from some unknown pursuer or threat.
