Experimental producer Jneiro Jarel, who made the awesome JJ DOOM album with DOOM, has remixed “Messin'” by Brooklyn-based singer Amatus, taking the pounding original into spacey dub territory. With Amatus’ soulful vocals given space to breathe, and a lurching reggae beat, this remix might even top the original, especially if your looking for something to sit back and vibe to.
