Lots of people associate Hudson Mohawke with turn up, turn up trap and hard hitting dance music, thanks to his work as half of TNGHT and tracks like recent release “Chimes,” but his catalog is full of thoughtful, restrained compositions. His latest remix, of fellow Scotsman Paolo Nutini’s moody “Iron Sky,” is one of those less hectic pieces of work, adding crisp drums and flickering electronics, but keeping the impassioned vocals as the main focus.
