Elijah Blake got his start writing songs for big popstars, with him even having a hand in the writing process of Usher’s critical and commercial darling “Climax.” He’s been making music as a solo artist for a good while now, but with his current trajectory he seems poised to achieve the crossover success he’s been working towards. “Give Me U” is one of three tracks Elijah recently uploaded to Soundcloud, and it’s produced by Corin Roddick of Purity Ring fame. Featuring the characteristic production flourishes he’s known for, the instrumental works remarkably well with Elijah’s stadium-sized croons.
