Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is readying the release of her debut solo album, Crush Songs. The album comprises of material she wrote when she was 27 (she’s 35 now), and today we’ve gotten our first taste of the album via a short lo-fi video. “Rapt” is equally as lo-fi as its video, providing a brief glimpse of the fairly back to basics sound. The video features her underwater, Karen h2O if you will. Crush Songs will be released on September 9 through Cult Records.
