We’ve already heard two track from Lil Silva’s new EP—”Mabel,” featuring impressive vocals from Lil Silva himself, and the gritty “First Mark“—and now the London producer and singer has shared one of the two BANKS collaborations. “Don’t You Love” is a mournful and slow-paced R&B song that comes with with a long, atmosphere-building intro of wobbly guitar and vocals before really bursting into life close to the two minute mark.
Lil Silva and BANKS’ vocals aren’t made the focal point of this song, instead they’re just another part used to create a wonderfully atmospheric whole. Lil Silva’s Mabel EP is out in the US on August 5 via Good Years / True Panther.
