Mixpak have already released 2014’s defining dancehall release, in the shape of Popcaan’s debut album Where We Come From, and here are some more summery sounds from the label. Palmistry is a producer from South London, and “Protector SE5” continues his run of dancehall inflected tracks, with hushed vocals delivered over glistening, glimmering production. It is, like most things this saccharine sweet, highly addictive, and (in the best way possible) wouldn’t sound too out of place on mainstream radio rotation.
