Two bits of news from Alt-J, who recently returned with the surprisingly bluesy “Left Hand Free” and the stunning, brutal Nabil-directed “Hunger of the Pine” video. First, there’s an ominous and brooding remix of Phantogram’s “Never Going Home” by the band’s drummer Thom Green, which comes from The Walking Dead Complete Fourth Season Soundtrack: Songs Of Survival Vol 2. Alt-J’s two other members, Joe Newman and Gus Unger-Hamilton, wrote and performed the score (which sounds a lot like a mournful Alt-J song) for “a nostalgic and youthful short film” called Wander With Me, directed by Jon E. Price. Watch that below.
