Statik Selektah is readying the release of his upcoming album, What Goes Around…, and today he’s previewing the album with a new track. Featuring Joey Bada$$ and Freddie Gibbs, “Carry On” showcases Statik’s remarkably fresh sounding boom bap style, providing hints of nostalgia without depending on it too heavily. Gibbs is real winner here though, with him flaunting his new-found hunger following his collaborative album with Madlib, Piñata.
