Minnesota synth-poppers Poliça released one of 2013’s strongest efforts with their sophomore LP, Shulamith, a dark, glittering work accented by standout track, “Tiff.” Since the album’s autumn release, the band has been fairly quiet, but breaks their silence today with the premiere of their latest track, “Raw Exit.”
Set to be released as a part of the forthcoming Shulamith deluxe reissue as well as the band’s upcoming Raw Exit EP, the track is a funky piece of electro-pop, thick with grimy synths, yet strangely appealing thanks to Channy Leaneagh’s delicate vocals. Listen to the entire track below.
The Shulamith deluxe reissue is out June 10 via Mom + Pop. The Raw Exit EP will be released in Europe June 30 via Memphis Industries.
