Celestics

By now most people have become fairly familiar with Montreal based producer Kaytranada, but it turns out he’s not the only one in the family making music. Back before Kaytranada changed his name from Kaytradamus, he and his brother Louis-Philippe Celestin formed a group called The Celestics. The duo gained some buzz last year when they dropped their single “Charles Barkley” on SoundCloud and have finally released a full project.

Supreme Laziness features production by Kaytranada while Louis P. handles the vocals. The witty one-liners provided by Louis P. only make the funky, bass-heavy beats produced by Kaytranada even more enjoyable. Kaytranada even joins his brother on the mic for a rare moment on “The Man.” Supreme Laziness can be fully streamed or downloaded from the duo’s SoundCloud page.
