We wrote about the unlikely combination of British producer Fantastic Mr Fox and British folk/soul singer Denai Moore at the end of 2013, when Moore’s “The Lake” received this stunning, sweeping remix. Now, the singer has returned the favor, popping up on Fantastic Mr Fox’s new single “On My Own” to provide mournful vocals over crisp but restrained production. The resulting song is a bewitching futuristic ballad, and comes backed with the jacking, gritty “Broke.”
